2016年6月3日，受公司邀请，国际著名GIS、遥感专家董品亮教授为公司师生举行了题为《LiDAR applications in forestry, urban enviroments, and geosciences》的学术讲座。
董品亮教授，博士毕业于加拿大Brunswick大学，硕士毕业于中国科公司遥感应用研究所，本科毕业于北京大学，现为美国北德克萨斯大学终身教授，长期从事GIS、遥感理论和应用研究，在《International Journal of Remote Sensing》、《Journal of Applied Remote Sensing》、《Geomatica》、《Journal of Geographical Information Sciences》、《Advances in Space Research》、《Computers and Geosciences》、《Advances in Intelligent and soft Computing》等国际著名期刊上发表论文50余篇。
